Kendall: Hello Jessica. I'm getting married this year and contacted Rev. Scott Awbrey to be the officiant for my wedding. He gave me your contact address so that I could use you as a reference for his services. May I ask you a few questions?
Jessica: Hi Kendall. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Thank you for contacting us about Rev. Scott Awbrey.
He did our wedding ceremony on January 1st and he was wonderful, and he really made everything so beautiful. My family and my husband's family really thought he did a perfect ceremony and made everything so easy for us.
Kendall: Did Rev. Awbrey make himself available for questions and guidance during the planning process? Did he charge for phone conversations? Email? Face-to-face meetings?
Jessica: Rev. Scott was available through face to face meetings, phone conversations and emails. He responded quickly and answered all our questions in full. No, he did not charge us for any means of contact.
We met him for dinner when we first were deciding to hire him. He was on time and very well prepared. He was able to show us our options and tailor his passages to meet our needs for our ceremony. We were immediately impressed with him and hired him right away.
Kendall: Did he make all of his pricing and services clear before you started to work with him?
Jessica: Yes! He made everything clear to us at the dinner meeting and there were no end surprises.
We also hired him to be in charge of our Rehearsal Dinner and that cost us a tiny bit extra, but he told me the cost when we met him at dinner so we were prepared for the extra cost.
At that first meeting he also showed us in detail what kind of services he does. Not only that, but he was kind enough to tailor his services so our ceremony was worded exactly how we wanted it.
Kendall: We're living out of state and have to plan long distance. Is he flexible and reliable, and able to take on a planning role for a couple?
Would you recommend him to your out-of-state friends?
Jessica: I would recommend him to anyone, in-state or out-of-state.
I had some of my bridal party come in from out of state, and he worked with them easily and kept me informed so that I could make sure my bridal party did what he asked.
Rev. Scott performed a beautiful ceremony at my wedding. Many of my guests loved his words and complimented me on having chosen Rev. Scott to do my ceremony.
